Thanks for the link to my blog. I am a member of this Masters level survey course of Introduction to the Study of Interactive communication. We're covering many different topics pertaining to the current world of interactive media, from blogging, to cyborgs, to censorship. Our blogs are an important aspect of this class. This is our forum to work out the aspects that we are most interested in.
I link to the other blogs of my classmates, so I believe you will get a nice mixture of different takes pertaining to the field of Interactive Media.
Colin - I am quite interested in the topics that you cover in your class on blogging and perhaps the blogs your students create.
Chrysanthemum, you might want to check out a comment I added to a previous entry which points to some papers a friend of mine is having his students read in an anthropology course that talks about blogging as well as a link to Jay Rosen's blog. (Jay is a journalism prof in NYU).
I will be doing a research paper this semester discussing how blogs serve to build online communities. My interest in this subject has been growing by the day as my blog gains more exposure. Connecting with people such as you really drives that home for me.
